The book represents the work of Syed Akber Ali Shah, who has translated the poetry of Allama Iqbal into English. The translation is not only literal to a legitimate extent but it is inspired and self-explanatory. It is not only true to the spirit of the originals but also bears the impression of being original. Moreover, his simple and clear writing style has made Iqbal easily understandable both to foreigners and the natives. The third edition has been revised by Anwar Hussain Syed, son of Syed Akber Ali Shah, and includes the third and final part of the translation.

Muhammad Shahzad Chaudhry Assistant Professor of Statistics recieved his Masters degree in statistics from Government College Lahore and did his masters in Economics from Punjab University Lahore. He remained the student of M.Sc. Computer Science in University of Engeenering and Technology(UET).
